Contrary to what I may have lead you to believe; Cuddles isn’t the only feather in my bow (ye olde metaphors for the win). I have countless sketchbooks (at least seven) filled (at least half-way) with little doodles (drawings not genitalia) and sketches (okay sometimes there is genitalia) and the like.
This evening I drew Cthulhu (huge fan of the Lovecraft mythos – something I could say is one of the larger influences on my work, especially Cuddles which I see as sort of the bastard lovechild (pun) of Supernatural, Angel, the Child’s Play films [there are *obvious* comparisons to be drawn here] and HP’s Dream Cycle) working at McDonalds.

And an insert, to show detail:

I also wanted to provide a little step-by-step and so I gathered here a much older piece of work entitled zOMBIE which I present below in sketch / ink / final order.

As you can see, everything is drawn on paper first and then fixed up on computer. I use a PC (shudder @ vista) for the moment and may be migrating to mac in the not too distant future. I hold no loyalty to either but from experience in recent years, mac’s simply tend to work better for longer.
Cuddles: The Golden Demon will be inked only; no colour work at this stage simply due to wanting it done within my lifetime. Covers and some inserts will be done in colour but the pages themselves will adopt a line/greyscale aesthetic.
